1st Dentist Appointment

Ava did awesome at her first trip to the dentist. She was so excited and did great while Ms. Karrie cleaned her teeth. And Dr. Coleman was very impressed with Ava's teeth. He said she had great teeth and is doing a great job taking care of her teeth.

Beach 2012: Anna Maria Island

This year for vacation we went to Anna Maria Island near Tampa. My dad's work owns a condo there and we stayed for the whole week. It was along drive but it was so worth it. The beach was so nice and it was very private and low key. It was the perfect place to just get away and relax for the week. The water was so clear and everyday we saw dolphins and manatees. Of course Ava had a blast playing at the beach and building sand castles. She loves the boogie board and was not scared of the water one bit.

Boogie Boarding: She gets her balance and agility from her Daddy because there is no way I could stand on this thing

** Apparently these were the only pictures we took all week, oh well

New York, New York

For my very good friend Dianne's 50th birthday she wanted a girls trip. So me, Jennifer, Dianne, and Natasha packed up our stuff and headed to the Big Apple. Dianne and I had never been and jennifer and Natasha were pretty much pros at the city. We were there 4 days and did everything there is to do. We saw a Broadway show: Sister Act, saw the Statue of Liberty, rode the subway, saw the twin towers, were on Good Morning America and saw a free concert in Central Park, rode in several scary taxis, China Town, Little Italy, Rockefeller Center, FAO Schwarz, ate pizza and canollis and cheesecake and bagels and the biggest deli sandwich ever!! it was a great trip and we had sooo much fun. I loved New York and cannot wait to go back!! Im not sure it is Chris' kind of city because there are so many people, but I think everyone should visit at least once.

1st thing I had to do in New York was eat a cannoli ( or 14)
On top of The Rock

9/11 Memorial: The best part of the entire trip. This was awesome!!

Real Italian food in Little Italy

New Twin Tower building
This is by far my favorite picture from the entire trip. While we did have a fantastic trip but, we got stuck in the LaGuardia Airport for 2 full days trying to get home. We ate there, slept there, stared at each other, and some of us cried there. We were so ready to get home yet were stuck. Finally on our 2nd night we got a flight out to Charleston and were finally able to get back to Atlanta.
