Homework

If you have spent any amount of time with Ava Lea you know that her attention span is about 15 seconds ( I mean what can I say the child gets it honest- I'm ADD and Chris is ADHD so she doesn't stand a chance) anyways we have a really hard time finding anything that holds her attention. Well her Daddy and her went shopping at the wonderful Target and he got her this fantastic dry erase letter book. She can trace and draw letters and then erase them. She was in heaven. She sat with this book doing her "homework" ALL DAY!! It was fantastic. She loved making her letters and then erasing them. She is already amazing with her alphabet but now she is actually drawing the letters. So maybe if her teacher mommy would get her head out of the clouds I could teach her to read.

NHA Grandparent's Day

We are so lucky to have grandparents who live so close and are able to come to activities at Ava's school. This was a big deal for Ava and she was so excited to show Nana and MeMe all her school friends and her song that she has been performing all week.

CIE Braves Night

Cotton Indian had Braves night at Turner Field and the kids were asked to sing the National Anthem at the game against the Dodgers. Since it was a Friday night and several of my kids would be singing we thought it would be fun to take Ava to her first Brave's game. It was really cool because we got there early and got to walk around the field before the game started.

It was a really fun night and Ava did great considering she stayed up 3 hours past her bed time. She did start to get a little delirious towards the end and we knew we had to pack it up and leave. She also asked to go home and go to be in the middle of the 1st inning. Luckily she did make it until about the the 7th inning.
