Back to School

I can't believe that the summer has come and gone and on Monday I will be returning to work and Ava will be going to a sitter. After much research and thought we are going to be leaving Ava at an in home daycare with a really nice lady we met named Linda. She was recommended through a friend at work and keeps a lot of teacher's children and lives really close. I have a good feeling and I think that Ava is going to like going an being around other children everyday. Luckily Chris still gets off work early so he will be able to pick her up and spend time with her. It will still be hard for me to leave her, but I am ready to get back to work with a fresh group of kids. I have been working in my classroom all week, but still have a lot of work to do.

The Barley

If you don't already know Barley is the best friend that Chris has ever known. This is some "artwork" that Chris has created with a new computer program we have. Barley is 3 years old now and is the best dog ever. We can't wait for him and Ava to be best friends.

Well I guess the cool thing to do now is to have a blog, so being that we are so cool and all I am going to have a blog. I don't know how great it will be but I shall try..... I have been really impressed with my friend Erica's blog and decided to give it a go. So here we go. I am going to post things happening in our lives and especially of Ava since she is 6 months old now. So check back often to see what is shakin' at the Embrey's!!
