Falcons

Chris won a contest at work and got a limo ride to the Falcons Game, Bud Tail gate passes, and 2 tickets to the game with really good seats. I was super excited because I had never been to a Falcons game. Too bad the Falcons lost and too bad the Saints fans were really obnoxious and there were as many Saints fans as Falcon fans.
The game was on Veteran's weekend and the entire dome did a "card stunt". Everyone held up a card in front of their face and it spelled out Thank you for your service and made an American flag. It was really cool to see and be a part of.
Our seats were 17 rows back

Stomach Virus

We were not so lucky with skipping the stomach virus when it made it's way around Ava's class. Luckily it was only a 24 hour bug and this girl was a champ about keeping her sickness in a bag. We did not have any messes at all except in my car but that was very unexpected. We snuggled on the couch and watched several movies together so besides her being sick it was pretty good snuggle time for me and thank goodness the virus skipped me.

Ballet

I am going to try to get some video of Ava at dance on here if I can. It is hilarious. They let parents watch ballet class this week and it was so funny. We definitely have "that kid". You know the one that the teacher has to say her name about 58 times for not quiet doing the right thing. Every parent in the room knew who Ava was because the teacher had to redirect Ava every other second. She is loving ballet which was apparent but my goodness does this kid have some energy. She was all over the place just bouncing off the walls the entire time. She is a little spastic ( she gets that from me I guess) , but over all I thought she was one of the better ballerinas in the class. She is in her own world but seems to at least have the moves down and loves it.

Dare to Dream: Princess Show #2

Ava loves princess shows so needless to say we went to 2 Disney shows in 2 weeks. This was Dare to Dream which was on ice at Phillips Arena. This was the first time we had seen one at Phillips. The other 2 shows we saw in Macon. We bought these tickets the day they went on sale and Ava had been looking forward to the show for months. This show she was really excited about because her favorite princess Rapunzel was there.

Bar Bar

This picture just cracks me up. He was in the middle of a yawn, but from the looks of it he sure is ferocious.

Game Time

The Big 3-0

I have been in denial about turning 30, but now almost a month later I can talk about it. I had a great birthday. I was really dreading it and was really bummed about turning 3o but it was such a great day. Mom and Dad surprised me first thing in the morning with flowers, cupcakes, a shirt, and a few other goodies.  My kids were also great. They ( along with my fabulous room mom who is also one of my bffs ) planned a surprise party for me after lunch. A few parents went in and we had pizza, drinks, cookies, cookie cake, and balloons. It was such a nice surprise and it really made my day extra special.

Princess Show #1

October was full of Princess Shows. We started by Disney Storybook Classics in Macon. This was a cool show because it wasn't on ice but on stage. We sat 10 rows back right in the middle so Ava had a blast because she was so close. She kept asking why the princesses kept looking at her. It was 3 of her favorite stories: Snow White, Cinderella, and Belle.
