Ava's favorite Uncles came over and she got to enjoy some good quality time with both of them. Mainly because Mommy likes a break and pawns the duties off on Uncle Mike and Uncle Eric. Uncle Mike gave Ava dinner and Uncle Eric entertained Ava and gave her her bottle before bed. Now if they would only change diapers Mommy and Daddy could leave and go out on a date!!

3 Peas in a Pod
Flower Box
While Chris was disappointed with the flowers I got for Valentine's Day, Ava was really entertained by the box. I got flowers today at work again and Ava really liked the box so we thought it would be funny to put her in the box. Don't worry we didn't close it but Daddy and Uncle Mike did slide her across the floor which the thought was so much fun. It doesn't take much to entertain Ava or her Daddy!!
PS We are not fans of ProFlowers and do not recommend them.

Twilight Day at CIE
My newest obsession are the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer. I am on book 3 and have read through the first and second book in about a week. They are so good and addictive. We have a Twilight group at school who have all read the books and are in love with the vampires. We are going Wednesday to see the movie at the dollar show in Fayetteville and I am so excited!! Below is a picture from Twilight Day at Cotton Indian.

My sweet, sweet husband also sent me flowers to school for Valentine's Day. I was very surprised and super excited!! He also got me the Twilight shirt I have on in the picture. I thought that was really sweet because he thinks it is sort of stupid that I am reading books for teenagers and getting so involved and obsessed!!
PS I have 2 more Twilight shirts that I will be modeling soon!!

Pretty Weather
Saturday was such a beautiful day that like most everyone we spent the day outside soaking up some much needed sun. If you know Chris you know that he loves to buy toys. Saturday we went to BJs and Chris and Mike decided that we had to have a bean bag toss. I thought it was pretty stupid ( as I do for much of the things that Chris buys) but said whatever. Anyways we got home and Mike and Chris played and me and Ava watched. After awhile the boys convinced me to play and to my surprise and theirs I was pretty good. I beat Chris and Mike several times until they started switching up the rules and moved the board way far back and it was hard for me to throw. Anyways it was fun and Ava enjoyed watching. Needless to say the next day my arm was really sore from throwing!!
Ball Pit
Chris was really excited about Ava having a ball pit. Aparently just what every little girl needs!! She had the most fun throwing the balls out of the pit and Daddy throwing them back into her. I'm thinking these 300 balls that Chris bought are going to be all over the house before it is all said and done!! Oh well it does look like fun. I'm thinking next Ava will need a blow up jumper for the back yard!!

Ava's early days
I wanted to post some pictures of Ava over the last year before I had the blog. These were just a few that I found that were cute. It is hard to believe how much she has changed. She was so tiny only 5 pounds when we brought her home and now she is almost 18 pounds! We have so many pictures of her sleeping because the first month of her life that is all she did. I guess since she was so early she wasn't suppose to even be awake yet.

Here are some pictures from the birthday party finally. Sorry they are not in order I put them in wrong and couldn't get them to move so oh well. Thanks to Morrelle who did a great job taking pictures. The day was a huge success and we are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Ava got so many neat presents and is having a blast with all her new toys and clothes.

It is hard to believe that Ava's first year has gone by so fast. It has been a very bitter sweet time for me because I love her getting older and doing more stuff but I am so sad that she isn't a baby anymore. NO I don't want another baby I just don't want my baby growing up so fast. Thank you to everyone who came to the party. It was truely an amazing day and Ava loved it!!

Car Show
It has been awhile since my last post but things have been super busy and there really hasn't been much going on. Ava is close to walking but not there yet. She finally got 2 teeth on top, but she won't show them off so we haven't got any pictures yet. I have been busy getting ready for her big birthday bash and trying NOT to think about how fast the first year of her life has gone by. I cannot believe that she is almost 1. It makes me so sad to think about it and how it has flown by. I will probably be a big mess on her birthday so be prepared.
On a lighter note Saturday we went to the World Congress Center for the Car Show. Not really my thing but Chris really enjoyed it and we got to spend time with Nana and Grandpa and Memaw and Papa Don so that was fun. This was probably one of the first times we have taken Ava somewhere that was really crowded with people, but she loved it. She is such a people watcher and people love to watch her. We had a lot of fun and it was a great way to spend a cold Saturday.
Grandpa bought Ava these glasses that lit up!!
Nana bought Ava a Night Rider T-Shirt because the car looks like Daddy's
Ava is not real Crazy about the big Geico Gekko

Ava is going to love going off with Nana and Grandpa because they always buy her cool stuff that Mommy and Daddy don't. Can we say SPOILED!!

Family Pictures
For Nana and Grandpa's Christmas we all got together to get some pictures of Chris and his brothers and all the cousins together. Here are a few of the good ones. It was very hard getting 3 babies to all smile at the same time but we got a few good ones.
Cousins: Ava, Hannah, and James
